Job summary

Minnetonka Public Schools is seeking a Six Week Float Reserve Teacher at Groveland Elementary to provide flexible instruction and support across classrooms for the 2025-2026 school year. The Building Float Teacher will adapt to multiple subjects and grade levels and collaborate with staff to ensure continuity of instruction and student success.

The position requires a Minnesota teaching license or Short Call license, strong classroom management, adaptability, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

Valid Minnesota Teaching License or Short Call License; If you do not hold a Minnesota Teacher License but have a Bachelor's degree you may apply for a Short Call Substitute license.
Strong classroom management and organizational skills.
Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in using classroom technology to support instruction.
