Job summary

Soliant is seeking an ESL Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year in the Burlington, NC area. This full-time position supports high school students (9th–12th) with a daily eight-hour schedule and a manageable caseload of 9–12.

Qualifications

• Current teaching certification in General Education or ESL
• 2-4 years of related classroom experience, especially in high school or secondary settings
• Strong skills in differentiated instruction to meet language learners’ needs
• Familiarity with designing and implementing individualized education plans for English Language Learners
• Commitment to culturally responsive teaching practices
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, and deliver ESL lessons tailored to the needs of 9th–12th grade students
• Assess student progress and adapt instruction to ensure academic growth
• Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to support inclusive classroom environments
• Maintain clear and thorough documentation of student performance and program compliance
• Communicate regularly with students, families, and educational stakeholders
