Overview

You can earn your Illinois High School Equivalency Diploma (GED) while working part-time at Cook. Work approximately 20 hours a week and take classes at Spoon River College to prepare for the High School Equivalency Test (GED). Upon passing the GED and demonstrating success in your role, you may be offered a full-time position in:

• Production
• Quality Control
• Packaging

Responsibilities

You Will:

• Work about 20 hours per week
• Be assigned to an available position
• Be actively enrolled in classes provided by Spoon River College
• Complete the GED and classes within 1 year

Cook Will:

• Provide part-time employment during prep classes
• Pay for hours worked

Qualifications

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States; sponsorship for employment visas is not provided.

Starting pay is projected at $16.00/hour, with eligibility for performance-based bonuses. Part-time employees are eligible for benefits including a 401(k) and profit-sharing plan. Cook reserves the right to modify any compensation or benefits at its discretion.
