Job description

High School English Teacher (One Year Term) for 2025-2026 School Year - JOB ID# 13224

The CREC Academy of Aerospace and Engineering 6-12 is seeking a highly committed and dedicated High School English Teacher for the 2025-2026 school year. This is a one-year term position. Under the guidance of the school administration, the teacher will:

  1. Prepare and deliver English curriculum and instructional activities.
  2. Differentiate instruction and analyze student achievement data.
  3. Participate in all required meetings (department, team, data, etc.) and provide feedback to students and families.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Providing individual and group instruction.
  • Collaborating with classroom teachers and support staff.
  • Monitoring student progress.
  • Administering federal assessments as necessary.

The successful candidate must possess an English 7-12 CT certification, be knowledgeable in the application of subject matter, have excellent organizational skills, be able to keep concise records, and demonstrate outstanding personal and interpersonal communication skills. Experience working with high school students is required.
