Job summary

Oxford Public Schools (CT) Oxford High School - Oxford, Connecticut is seeking a 1.0 FTE English teacher. • Maintain accurate student records, parent communications, and student progress data.
• Maintain proper professional conduct as defined in the Connecticut Code of Professional Responsibilities for Teachers.

• Assess student needs and providing support or extra resources to struggling students as well as exceptional achievers.
• Actively involve students in the classroom through group work, project-based learning, exploration, questioning, discussion, and other cooperative teaching techniques.
• Utilize best practice instructional strategies and research-based intervention curriculum materials to meet the learning needs all students
• Integrate technology, including google classroom seamlessly into teaching strategies and practices
