  • NJ K-12 Content Certification in English is required.
  • Knowledge of NJSLS in English Language Arts is required.
  • NJ Students with Disability Certification is required.
  • Ability to differentiate instruction and use technology to enhance instruction and assess students.
  • Demonstrates initiative for professional growth.
  • Excellent communication with teachers, parents and administrators.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and maintain harmonious relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Teach English Language Arts aligned with district curriculum and standards.
  • Deliver engaging lessons in literature, writing, grammar, and critical thinking.
  • Support students in developing analytical and communication skills.
  • Assess student progress and provide timely feedback.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to support interdisciplinary learning and school initiatives.
  • Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Work collaboratively with the CST.
  • Differentiate instruction to address learning needs.
  • Maintain PLAAFPs for students in the classroom.
  • Collect and analyze data to develop and monitor students goals.
