East Valley Institute of Technology (EVIT) seeks a Future Engineers Instructor for the Power Rd Campus in Mesa, AZ. The role is full-time as an exempt, 10-month calendar position, teaching high school students and guiding them to think like engineers using modern tools and practices.

The instructor will deliver an instructional program, collaborate with industry partners for hands-on experiences, and leverage Canvas, Focus, Google Classroom, and ExamSoft to enhance learning.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering or closely related field from an accredited institution.
• Previous teaching experience at the high school or college level.
• Active involvement in industry associations or professional organizations.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize and implement an instructional program guiding students to develop educational potential.
• Teach students to think like engineers and solve real-world problems using current technology and tools.
• Collaborate with industry partners to provide hands-on experience across engineering fields.
