Independent School District 196 is seeking a part-time K-12 ELD Teacher to teach English Learners at the high school level. Responsibilities include creating ELD curriculum and instruction, collaborating with colleagues to support multilingual needs, and teaching aligned ELD standards.

The ideal candidate will possess a Minnesota teaching license for ESL and demonstrate a strong commitment to equity, culturally responsive teaching, and effective communication within a diverse academic community.

Qualifications

• Licensed by the State of Minnesota to teach ESL.
• Strong general academic background required.
• Ability to relate positively to students, staff and community.
• Demonstrated planning and organizational skills necessary.
• Commitment to equity and culturally responsive teaching essential.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills expected.
• Experience working with a diverse school community preferred.
