Job summary

BERGEN COUNTY TECHNICAL SCHOOLS seeks a High School Teacher of Culinary Arts for the 2026-2027 year. Certificated 10 months position with a NJ CTE Culinary Arts endorsement and a culinary degree, with a focus on preparing students for culinary careers.

Immediate start; residency requirement within one year of hire. Responsibilities include delivering instruction, maintaining professional standards, and supporting a highly motivated student body.

Qualifications

• Possess a New Jersey DOE CTE Instructional certificate with a Culinary Arts endorsement (#4132 or #4128).
• Bachelor or Associate degree in Culinary Arts/Baking.
• Food Industry experience - preferred
• Excellent organizational and communication skills (oral and written).
• New Jersey residency required within one (1) year from date of hire.
