Job summary

Qualifications

• CTE certification from an approved Educator Preparation Program (EPP) preferred.
• A Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution preferred.
• General knowledge of curriculum and instruction and ability to instruct students and manage their behavior.
• Strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Assists students in obtaining Industry Certifications.
• Active sponsor to respective Career and Technical Student Organization(s) (CTSO).
• Promote Career and Technical Education Initiatives.
• Develop and implement lesson plans that fulfill the requirements of school curriculum programs and show written evidence of preparation as required.
• Use technology to strengthen the teaching/learning process.
• Plan and supervise assignments of teacher aide and volunteers.
• Conduct ongoing assessment of student achievement.
• Be a positive role model for students.
