Job summary

Brooke Charter Schools is seeking a High School Computer Science Teacher to join a growing CS team and bring accessible CS education to Brooke students across K-12 campuses.

You will teach multiple CS sections, mentor students as an advisor, participate in data meetings and observations, and pursue ongoing professional development. A Bachelor's degree and CS content knowledge are required, with a July 2027 start preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in any field with CS content knowledge.
• At least 2 years as a lead teacher; foster a joyful classroom culture.
• Commitment to anti-racist practices and diversity in education.
• Willingness to start July 2027.

Responsibilities

• Teach multiple sections of computer science daily and serve as an advisor.
• Participate in regular data meetings and about 20 administrative observations.
• Complete ~300 hours of professional development during the school year.
• Lead an after-school club or coach a sport for an additional stipend.
• Build strong relationships with students and families.
