South Carolina Connections Academy is seeking a High School Counselor who will deliver academic, career, and personal counseling services to students from the comfort of their homes. This role involves supporting students in grades 11-12 through effective counseling practices and collaborative efforts with educational stakeholders. Applicants must hold a Master’s in School Counseling and possess a South Carolina School Counselor certificate.
South Carolina Connections Academy (SCCA) is a tuition-free, K–12 online public school. The school was launched in 2008–09 under contract to the South Carolina Connections Academy Charter School. SCCA is South Carolina’s very first virtual charter school, authorized by the South Carolina Public Charter School District. The school serves students in grades K–12 from anywhere in South Carolina.
Position Summary and Responsibilities:
Working from home in the state of South Carolina, the High School Counselor will provide virtual academic, college/career, and personal/social counseling services to a caseload of students in 11-12th grade.
