Job summary

ProCare Therapy is seeking two School Counselors to support high school students from August 31, 2026, through June 4, 2027. Provide individualized academic counseling, help students set goals, coordinate with teachers and families, and maintain confidential records.

Applicants must hold an active Michigan School Counselor certification with endorsement and have strong communication and organizational skills. Join a collaborative educational setting that values student success and well-being.

Qualifications

• Active Michigan education certificate with School Counselor Endorsement.
• Prior experience supporting high school students in an academic counseling capacity preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized academic counseling for high school students.
• Develop and implement support plans addressing students educational pathways.
• Empower students with resources, goal-setting strategies, and decision-making guidance.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to promote student achievement.
• Maintain confidential records and document student progress in accordance with school policies.
• Participate in team meetings, professional development, and school counseling initiatives.
