Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and valid Texas teaching certificate with endorsements for the assigned subject/level.
• Endorsements in multiple areas are preferred.
• ESL certification is preferred.
• Demonstrated competency in the core academic subject area assigned.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement lesson plans aligned to district curriculum and show evidence of preparation.
• Plan and supervise athletic activities, contests, and practice sessions to promote athletic skills and sportsmanship.
• Instruct and supervise student athletes, enforcing conduct per district policies and the Student Code of Conduct.
• Establish and maintain open communication with parents, students, principals, and teachers.
