Responsibilities

• Develop and implement lesson plans that fulfill the district curriculum requirements.
• Prepare lessons reflecting accommodations for different learning styles.
• Present subject matter according to TEA guidelines and policies.
• Plan and use instructional strategies and materials that address diverse needs.
• Assess student learning and use results to plan activities.
• Collaborate with special education staff to modify curricula per IEP.
• Coordinate with staff to set instructional goals and supervise aides/volunteers.
• Utilize technology to strengthen teaching and learning.
