Distinctive Schools in Chicago is seeking a High School Computer Science Teacher. The role reports to the Principal and starts with a starting salary of $70,000 for certified teachers. Regular full-time position with start date in November 2026. The campus location is CICS Longwood.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• Illinois Professional Educator License or eligible within 30 days of employment.
• CS Endorsement required.
• Experience or ability to analyze student and campus data.

Responsabilités

• Deliver CS instruction aligned to standards with engaging, rigorous learning experiences.
• Maintain organized, welcoming classroom and effective routines to maximize instructional time.
• Assess and monitor student progress, adjust instruction to address gaps.
• Communicate regularly with families about student progress and needs.
• Participate in professional development and collaborate with colleagues.
