Job summary

DeKalb County School District is seeking a motivated Band Corps Community Coach at Lakeside High School who loves working with high school students and contributes to a positive athletic culture.

The successful candidate will assist the Head Coach with game techniques and strategies, maintain athletic equipment inventory, and oversee locker rooms and facilities. This is a temporary position with annual renewal expectations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience coaching sports preferred.
• Georgia High School Association Lay Coaching Certificate required.
• Valid certificate in first aid required.

Responsibilities

• Assist Head Coach with game techniques and strategies.
• Maintain inventory of athletic equipment.
• Maintain locker rooms and playing facilities.
• Support communication with stakeholders as needed.
