St. Raymond Academy for Girls in the Bronx seeks a passionate High School Chemistry Teacher to design engaging, standards-aligned lessons, lead laboratory activities, and prepare students for the New York State Regents exams.

You will foster scientific curiosity, support diverse learners, integrate educational technology, provide mentoring, and uphold Catholic values in a safe, respectful classroom.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or related field with science education focus.
• Certification to teach 9-12 science is preferred; experience with Regents prep is beneficial.
• Ability to differentiate instruction for diverse learners and manage labs safely.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver chemistry lessons aligned with state standards and include labs.
• Prepare students for the New York State Regents Exams.
• Teach a section of health and integrate educational technology into lessons.
• Assess progress using formative and summative methods and supervise labs.
• Provide academic advising and mentorship to students.
