Qualifications

• Teaching experience in high school science with chemistry focus.
• Strong knowledge of organic chemistry, biochemistry, genetics, microbiology, and molecular biology.
• Experience with lab safety protocols and dissection skills.
• Familiarity with learning technology platforms for interactive lessons.
• Excellent communication with students, parents, and staff.

Responsibilities

• Design chemistry curricula aligned with standards for diverse learners.
• Deliver engaging lectures and hands-on labs in organic chemistry and related fields.
• Develop lesson plans using instructional design principles and tech tools.
• Manage classroom behavior and foster inclusive, engaging learning environments.
• Prepare students for standardized tests with practice assessments and tutoring.
• Assess progress via assignments, quizzes, labs; provide constructive feedback.
• Mentor students individually or in groups on research or science fairs.
• Collaborate on curriculum development and professional development.
• Maintain records of attendance, grades, and safety compliance in labs.
• Engage with library resources for research and stay current with science advances.
