Job summary

McLeod Sports Medicine seeks a full-time Certified Athletic Trainer to provide athletic training services at Mullins High School in Mullins, SC. The role includes injury prevention, treatment, rehabilitation, and performance enhancement for student-athletes within a collaborative team of 25 trainers.

Responsibilities include daily coverage for practices and games, documentation of care, and outreach for club and collegiate programs, under the Medical Director and policies of McLeod Sports

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
Certification through the Board of Certification for Athletic Trainers.
Eligible for Athletic Trainer licensure in South Carolina.
Current CPR and AED certification.

Responsibilities

Provide daily athletic training coverage for practices and competitions.
Prevent, evaluate, treat, and manage athletic injuries.
Develop and implement sports performance programs.
Document injuries and maintain medical records.
Communicate with coaches, physicians, athletes and families.
Organize and administer athletic training services.
Participate in outreach services for clubs, recreation, or collegiate programs as needed.
