Job summary

The i4 Search Group is seeking a Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) to provide comprehensive sports medicine coverage for a high school program in South Carolina. This role includes injury prevention, evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation, with daily practice and game coverage.

The ATC will oversee performance programming, maintain clinical documentation, and may support outreach for other school, recreational, or collegiate programs. A $5,000 sign-on is available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training or related field.
• BOC certification is required (no exceptions).
• New Grads are encouraged to apply.
• Eligible for Athletic Trainer licensure in South Carolina.
• Current CPR and AED certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site athletic training coverage for practices, games, and events.
• Assess, treat, and rehabilitate athletic injuries.
• Develop and implement sport performance and injury prevention programs.
• Maintain accurate medical records and injury documentation.
• Coordinate care under the direction of the medical director and the healthcare team.
• Communicate with athletes, coaches, parents, and medical providers regarding care plans.
• Ensure compliance with clinical protocols and safety standards.
• Participate collaboratively in a team-based sports medicine environment.
