Job summary

Kern High School District is seeking a Campus Security officer for Arvin High School. The role supports student safety, campus order, and attendance by supervising students on grounds, lots, and surrounding areas.

Applicants must have SB 1626 security training, three years of youth-work experience, a valid CA driver’s license, and pass a pre-employment medical and criminal history check. The position starts at $3,306.01 monthly for a 9.4-month assignment, 7:15am–4:00pm.

Qualifications

• SB 1626 security guard training required with application.
• Three years of youth work experience, preferably in a high school.
• Must possess a valid California driver's license.
• Ability to supervise and manage student behavior; read/write to perform duties.
• Pre-employment medical and criminal history checks required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise students on campus, parking lot and adjacent areas to ensure conduct.
• Enforce school rules and maintain attendance and order during the day.
