Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor/BA or BS in teaching or related field.
• Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with Business Education endorsement (9–12).
• Ability to communicate effectively in writing and speech.
• Knowledge and use of relevant technology and curriculum.
• Meet professional teacher education requirements of the district and state.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and implement instruction for high school business courses.
• Deliver engaging lessons aligned with state standards and district policies.
• Utilize technology to support differentiated instruction.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate with parents.
• Advise or support the FBLA chapter as needed.
• Establish and enforce clear classroom expectations and procedures.
