Appleton North High School, part of the Appleton Area School District, is seeking an Assistant Boys Wrestling Coach for the 2026-2027 school year. You will support the head coach in developing student-athletes and maintaining a positive team culture.

You will help plan practices, teach techniques, and supervise student-athletes while upholding district policies and safety standards. The role involves communication with staff, parents, and the Activities Department.

Qualifications

• Wrestling experience preferred.
• Strong communication with students, staff and parents.
• Commitment to student-athlete development, safety and academics.

Responsabilités

• Assist with planning and conducting practices, skill development, and conditioning.
• Teach wrestling techniques, strategies, sportsmanship, and safe wrestling practices.
• Support head coach in attendance, academics, behavior and effort expectations.
• Build positive relationships with student-athletes and promote teamwork and growth.
• Assist with match preparation, coaching during competitions, and supervision of athletes.
• Communicate effectively with head coach, athletes, parents, and Activities Department.
• Follow school, district, and WIAA policies and coaching expectations.
