Qualifications

Prefer candidate who will be teaching at Wayne High School for the 2026-2027 school year.
If applicant is a current FWCS teacher, the teacher must fulfill their daily contracted hours before coaching.
If not an FWCS teacher, candidate must be available at 3:30 Monday through Friday afternoons.
Valid Driver's License required.

Responsibilities

Instruct and supervise all athletic practices and games.
Maintain high expectations academically and athletically for students.
Collaborate with head coaches and assistants to organize programs.
Comply with IHSAA, MSAC rules and FWCS policies including ethics.
Work to develop positive relations with students, parents, teachers and administrators.
Adapt coaching to multicultural student populations.
Prepare and coordinate eligibility and supervision for practices and games.
Assist with SPB/ Minibus certification prior to season.
