• Plans a program of study and lessons that meet the individual needs, interests, and abilities of students.
• Implements a course of study that includes the identified New Jersey Core Curriculum Content Standard and Cumulative Progress Indicators.
• Creates a classroom environment conducive to learning and appropriate to the maturity and interest of students.
• Guides the learning process toward the achievement of curriculum goals and objectives.
• Assesses the accomplishments of students on a regular basis and provides progress reports, as required.
• Upholds and enforces school rules, administrative regulations, and board policy.
