Welcome to Smithfield High School

Smithfield High School educates the town’s students from grades nine through twelve. Our graduates possess a common core of knowledge and skills and develop as lifelong learners, analytical thinkers, effective communicators, and productive members of the global community. SHS also offers extensive extra-curricular sports teams, clubs and organizations. We are very proud of the formation and successful implementation of our Unified Basketball team, which partners SHS students with and without intellectual disabilities.Our primary focus is on creating an environment where students feel safe. We pride ourselves on building relationships with our students which in turn allows students to challenge themselves and meet with personal and academic success.
