Oakland Unified School District’s Fremont High School is seeking an Athletic Coach for Boys Baseball for the Spring 2027 term. This part-time role requires directing practices, guiding student athletes, and coordinating schedules with the athletic department.

Applicants should meet coaching certification requirements and have knowledge of high school sports policies; experience with CIF rules and relationships with parents is valued.

Formación

• Evidence of coaching theory and techniques in the sport (e.g., coursework, prior coaching, or participation).
• Knowledge of high school rules and regulations for the sport.
• Understanding adolescent psychology as it relates to sports participation.
• Ability to maintain safety standards in coaching at practices and contests.
• Strong communication with parents/guardians and school staff in emergencies.
• Knowledge of CIF policies related to athletics.

Responsabilidades

• Instruct and coach students in the sport indicated.
• Help arrange playing schedules.
• Perform/assist in all coaching responsibilities for the position.
• Attend all required meetings and trainings as specified by OAL.
