Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Health, Fitness, Athletic Training or related field.
• Master's degree in Ed Leadership, or Health and Fitness, Athletic Training or related field from an accredited college or university preferred.
• Five (5) years of related education experience, including three (3) years of classroom teaching experience.
• Minimum of 5 years coaching/athletics/sports management/athletic coordinator directors’ experience in an urban school setting and/or in a multicultural education environment.
• Experience managing budgets and personnel required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all major functions of athletics at local high schools.
• Be available for after school, evenings/weekend practices, events and meets.
• Coordinate the sports program in collaboration with the school's Principal/Administrator/Coaching staff.
• Observe and administer all school and District policies.
• Manage the athletic budget of the school and ensure proper inventory and reports.
