Bishop McDevitt High School in Harrisburg, PA is seeking an Assistant Athletic Coach for the 26-27 school year across multiple sports. The role supports the head coach with training, practice planning, and game preparation within diocesan and school policies.

You will work under the supervision of the head varsity coach, help develop athletes, maintain equipment, and assist with feeder program initiatives with parishes and community organizations, while maintaining professional conduct.

Qualifications

• Assist head coach with training and instruction of student-athletes while following policies.
• Maintain practice and game schedules and ensure safety protocols.
• Comply with diocesan, school, league, and PIAA policies.

• Apply knowledge of skills and rules to help athletes reach potential.
• Develop positive team spirit and morale.
• Conduct well-planned practice sessions.
• Assist with equipment issuance and inventory.
