Diocese of Harrisburg seeks an Athletic Assistant Coach for Bishop McDevitt High School in Harrisburg, PA. You will support the head coach in training, scheduling, and leadership of student-athletes within a Catholic school context.

Qualifications

• Experience applying sport-specific skills, training, and rules to improve student-athlete performance.
• Ability to teach, motivate, and maintain discipline during practices and games.
• Familiarity with diocesan, school, league, and PIAA policies for athletics.

Responsabilités

• Assist head coach with training, instruction, and game schedules.
• Maintain practice plans and ensure equipment is issued, inventoried, and cleaned.
• Assist with developing feeder programs within the high school and parishes.
• Assist with recruiting qualified coaches and evaluating program strengths and weaknesses.
• Maintain positive communication with student-athletes, parents, and community.
