The Williamsburg-James City County Schools are seeking a high school assistant coach to support the head coach and student athletes. The role includes supervising assigned coaching duties, attending staff meetings, and serving as a positive influence while ensuring student safety.

Duties also include reporting injuries to staff and performing any other responsibilities as determined by the head coach, within reasonable limits.

Responsibilities

• Responsiblity for the supervision of their respective coaching duties. These duties will be assigned by the head coach.
• Attend staff meetings called by the principal, athletic director, or head coach.
• Serves as a postive influence to the student athletes
• Ensures the safety of the student athletes and reports injuries to appropriate staff
• All other duties, within reason, assigned by the head coach.
