Job summary

Peoria Unified School District is seeking a part-time High School Athletic Trainer to operate at Peoria High School, providing injury prevention, care, and rehabilitation for student-athletes.

Responsibilities include teaching first aid and CPR to coaching staff, developing emergency plans, and maintaining treatment records. Requires CA or AZ-certified athletic trainer with a valid license and background check.

Qualifications

• CPR and First Aid techniques required.
• Ability to lead and communicate effectively with athletes, coaches and staff.
• Strong knowledge of injury prevention and rehabilitation principles.

Responsibilities

• Administer emergency care and rehabilitation for high school athletes.
• Develop emergency medical plan for each sport in conjunction with coaches.
• Maintain records of injuries, referrals, and treatments.
• Ensure adherence to NATA guidelines and school policies.
