Mount Greylock Regional School is seeking a Certified Athletic Trainer to oversee student-athlete health, injury management, and return-to-play decisions. The role collaborates with a designated physician and school staff to ensure safe practices and compliance with MA regulations.

The position emphasizes coverage for home events, injury prevention, and coordination of medical clearance, emergency planning, and documentation for student-athletes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Athletic Training from an accredited program.
• BOC certification and Massachusetts AT license or eligibility.
• First Aid, CPR, and AED certification for Healthcare Professional.
• NPI number is required for practice.
• Collaborate with a Directing Physician to ensure compliance with MA law.

Responsibilities

• Provide coverage for home events and postseason competitions.
• Evaluate, treat, and rehabilitate injuries; manage return-to-play.
• Coordinate with Athletic Director on health, safety, and policies.
• Maintain medical records and concussion management per MA rules.
• Communicate with coaches, families, and healthcare providers.
