Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in athletic training or related field required.
• Current, unrestricted CT DPH license to practice Athletic Training.
• BOC certification and ATC credential.
• CPR, AED, First Aid certifications.
• Experience with safety protocols and electronic injury-management systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide athletic training and game-day coverage for practices, games, and events.
• Develop and rehearse Emergency Action Plans with staff and responders.
• Maintain injury reports, treatment logs, and return-to-participation documentation.
• Coordinate clearances with the school nurse and enter data into reporting systems.
• Educate coaches, athletes, and families on sports medicine topics.
• Manage inventory of athletic training and first-aid supplies.
