Job summary

Castle Rock School District 401 seeks an Athletic Trainer for the 2026-27 seasons (Fall, Winter, Spring). The role involves supervising practicum opportunities for students and providing care during events, with stipends for evening events per sport season.

Requires WA endorsement/licenses for athletic training and strong interpersonal skills. Reports to the High School Assistant Principal/Athletic Director and collaborates with the staff athletic trainer.

Qualifications

• Must hold Certified Athletic Trainer Certification (NATA-BOC).
• Washington State Athletic Training License required.
• Master's Degree preferred or currently pursuing.
• Valid BLS certification required; First Aid/CPR Instructor preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide athletic trainer coverage at home and away interscholastic events.
• Manage first aid and rehabilitative procedures for injured athletes.
• Coordinate with Athletic Director and staff athletic trainer.
• Maintain accurate records of injuries and treatments.
• Interact with coaches, parents and medical staff while ensuring confidentiality.
