Qualifications

• Master's degree from an accredited university.
• Valid Texas Standard Principal or Mid-Management certification.
• Current ILD/ILT or AEL certification or the ability to obtain within the first 60 days of employment.
• T-TESS Certification required at time of hire or ability to obtain within the first 60 days of employment.
• Minimum of three years experience as a classroom teacher.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the development and evaluation of educational programs and student achievement.
• Encourage and support development of instructional programs; promote use of achievement data and technology in teaching/learning.
• Promote a positive, caring climate for learning.
• Communicate effectively with staff, students, and parents.
• Participate in campus improvement planning with staff, parents and community.
