Qualifications

• Must possess a current coaching license from the State of Iowa.
• Ability to work well with others and willingness to assume responsibility.
• Ability to supervise students while maintaining positive relationships.
• Enjoys working with young people, staff and parents.

Responsabilités

• Ensure all athletes are properly supervised at all times.
• Attend annual coaches meeting and participate in reviewing policies.
• Organize meetings with parents before the first interscholastic contest.
• Assist with completing and returning concussion forms and other physical forms.
• Help prepare equipment and issue uniforms.
• Enforce training rules and report violations.
• Organize home events and prepare facilities for use.
• Verify consent for medical treatment forms are completed and available.
• Supervise locker rooms, showers and training rooms.
• Secure facilities after events and practices.
• Attend all practice sessions and games or be available for scouting.
• Report injuries and assist in accident forms.
• Notify media of outcomes and assist in preparing stats.
• Collect and inventory equipment and uniforms at season end.
• Suggest new equipment purchases to head coach.
• May extend contract if team advances to higher levels.
