Job summary

Bryan City School District is seeking a knowledgeable High School Assistant Baseball Coach to join our athletic program under the Head Baseball Coach. You will assist in instructing student-athletes in mechanics, strategies, conditioning, and situational gameplay while upholding OHSAA standards.

The role supports daily practices, game operations, field maintenance, and ensures safety, discipline, and sportsmanship. You will also monitor academics and help manage travel and team operations.

Qualifications

• Competitive baseball coaching experience at high school, college, or club level.
• Strong knowledge of OHSAA rules, safety regulations, and pitch-count limits.
• Ability to obtain PAP, CPR/AED, First Aid for Coaches, and NFHS Concussion training.
• Successful FBI/BCI background check and district hiring requirements.

Responsibilities

• Instruct players on baseball mechanics, strategies, and game situations.
• Assist in planning structured practices, batting practice, and field maintenance.
• Support conditioning, injury prevention, and safety programs per guidelines.
• Model integrity, discipline, teamwork, and sportsmanship.
• Monitor student-athletes' academics and assist with travel and operations.
