Job summary

Grandview School District is seeking an after school tutor at Grandview High School for the 2026-2027 school year. The role focuses on academic enrichment and behavior management after school with one-on-one or group tutoring to reinforce classroom learning.

The position is temporary, part-time, with pay of $45 per hour or per diem (whichever is lower) and up to 3 hours per day. A Bachelor’s degree is required along with a Washington State Teaching Certificate.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in a job-related area.
• Must have a Washington State Teaching Certificate.
• Must meet WA State Certification Criteria.
• Relates well with students, parents and peers; strong classroom control; team orientation.

Responsibilities

• Support students in academic enrichment and behavior management after school.
• Provide one-on-one or group tutoring to reinforce classroom learning and assist with homework.
• Oversee students to ensure adherence to behavioral guidelines and completion of tasks.
