Job summary

EduCare Foundation is seeking an enthusiastic After-School Dance Instructor to lead high school students in basic dance routines across styles such as Hip-Hop, Contemporary, Latin and more. You will create lesson plans, maintain attendance, and foster a positive learning environment after school hours (3:30 PM – 6:00 PM) Monday through Friday at a Los Angeles site.

You’ll collaborate with the Site Coordinator, inspire creativity and leadership, and ensure safety while guiding up to 20 students.

Qualifications

• Experience teaching dance to teens.
• Ability to create age-appropriate routines.
• Strong classroom management and supervision skills.

Responsibilities

• Teach structured dance classes and develop age-appropriate routines.
• Create lesson plans for enrichment activities and lead instruction.
• Interact with students daily, take attendance, and manage sign-outs.
• Foster a positive, respectful, and inclusive learning environment.
• Maintain active supervision and classroom management for groups of up to 20 students.
• Inspire students through leadership, creativity, and encouragement.
