Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a High Risk OB Ultrasound Tech for a 13-week travel assignment in Cary, NC. The role involves obstetric ultrasound imaging and collaboration with clinicians to support high-risk pregnancies.

The position emphasizes accurate imaging, patient education, and safe patient care, with a dedicated clinical team behind you. Travel benefits and comprehensive coverage are included.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Ultrasound Technology program.
• Minimum of one year of experience as a High-Risk OB Ultrasound Tech.
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC).
• Valid Ultrasound license in compliance with state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing and adjusting patient treatment plans under the guidance of physicians or RRTs.
• Examine and interview patients with breathing and/or cardiopulmonary disorders.
• Perform diagnostic tests, such as measuring lung capacity or collecting blood/sputum samples.
• Administer respiratory treatments, including aerosol medications and oxygen therapy.
• Set up and monitor equipment to ensure correct oxygen delivery.
• Observe and record patient status and progress.
• Educate patients and/or family members on medications and equipment usage.
• Perform other duties as assigned within the CRT scope.
