Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a Seattle, WA assignment. Start date 01/12/2026 for 12 weeks, 36 hours per week on 12-hour day shifts, with weekend/holiday coverage as needed.

Requirements include WA or compact RN license, 3–5 years’ high-risk L&D experience, ability to circulate and provide newborn care, BLS and NRP, and Epic EMR proficiency. Travel and licensure reimbursements, comprehensive benefits, and per diem support are available.

Qualifications

• Active WA or compact RN license
• 3–5 years of high-risk L&D experience in a high-acuity setting
• Ability to circulate and newborn care expertise
• Current BLS and NRP certifications
• Proof of certifications and Nursys verification
• Epic EMR experience

Responsibilities

• Care for high-acuity Labor & Delivery patients in a hospital setting
• Circulate and provide newborn care; assist with Baby Nurse duties
• Float to Postpartum, Antepartum, and other Mother/Baby units as needed
• Use Epic EMR and fetal monitoring equipment
• Follow AWHONN guidelines and provide care for high-risk cases
