Job summary

S&K Building Services is seeking a Commercial High-Rise Window Cleaning Technician in Lansing, MI. This role uses rope descent systems to access and clean windows on multi-story buildings, with a focus on safety, precision, and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of relative experience safely repelling high-rise buildings.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Reliable transportation to/from work and job sites.
• Clean-cut appearance and ability to adhere to dress code.
• Able to lift up to 60 lbs and scale ladders 5–35 ft (training provided).
• Work well indoors and outdoors in varying weather; strong time-management and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Clean windows and glass surfaces with non-abrasive tools.
• Safely repel high-rise buildings via rope descent system to reach windows.
• Communicate with site contact before, during, and after work; obtain customer endorsement on work order.
• Transport and set up water-fed poles; breakdown equipment after cleaning.
• Clean up the site after each job to remove residue or dirt.
• Maintain company vehicle cleanliness and stocked supplies.
• Attend weekly safety meetings.
• Safely use aerial lift with training.
