Job summary

GardaWorld Security Services U.S. in Plano, TX is hiring a part-time Security Officer. The role requires excellent customer service, the ability to conduct patrols and respond to emergencies, and strong report-writing skills.

A valid driver license, 21+ age, and reliable transportation are required. Prior security, military, or law enforcement experience is a plus, and DailyPay is available. Shift pattern includes Tue-Wed 6:30 am–2:30 pm and Sat-Sun 6:00 pm–6:00 am.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• State license if required.
• 21 years of age or older.
• Stable work history preferred.
• Reliable transportation required.
• Security, military, or law enforcement experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct roving patrols of facility perimeter to detect unauthorized entry or suspicious activity.
• Act as point of contact for incidents and emergencies.
• Monitor property for rule infractions and observe/report activity.
• Provide rapid response in critical situations and document clearly.
• Read and write detailed reports accurately for location logs.
• Enforce customer procedures, regulations and standards as needed.
