Job summary

10 Huron Condominium Association in Jersey City, NJ seeks a dependable Maintenance Technician to support daily building upkeep and resident service. You will work with management and the superintendent to complete work orders, preventive maintenance, repairs, and small projects in a high-rise residential setting.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and general repairs, good communication, reliability, and the ability to work independently

Qualifications

• Hands-on maintenance experience in buildings, apartments, or condos.
• Troubleshoot plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and general repairs.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or with a team.

Responsibilities

• Complete resident and building maintenance work orders.
• Perform general repairs throughout the property.
• Troubleshoot plumbing issues (leaks, faucets, toilets, drains).
• Perform minor electrical repairs (switches, outlets, lighting).
• Patch drywall, paint, caulk, and minor carpentry.
• Repair doors, locks, hardware, and fixtures.
• Assist with preventative maintenance and safety checks.
• Maintain records of completed work and communicate with management.
