Job summary

CSG Talent is seeking a project manager to oversee curtain wall projects on high-rise buildings in Washington, DC. You will coordinate design, procurement, and shop drawings, engaging with Architects, Engineers, and fabricators to establish a solid project foundation.

Responsibilities include budgeting, scheduling, permits, safety, and ensuring all work aligns with contract requirements. You will guide teams through design to closeout, delivering on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related fields.
• General knowledge of the construction industry and its standard practices (preferred).
• Knowledge of the curtainwall industry (a plus).

Responsibilities

• Administer curtainwall projects for high-rise buildings from pre-construction budgeting through closeout.
• Coordinate shop drawings and submittals with Architects/Engineers/Drafters and Factory.
• Obtain current structural drawings from the General Contractor and interface drawings from other trades.
• Establish Schedules of Values and assist with monthly requisitions and change orders.
• Develop project schedules based on client requirements and lead times.
• Coordinate material release for fabrication per project schedule.
• Provide details for non-compliant conditions to Design Managers.
• Obtain construction permits and ensure safety and code compliance.
• Oversee all facets of the project to meet design, budget and schedule.
