Job summary

Church & Dwight Co., Inc. in York, PA is hiring a Palletizer Operator for the Afternoons shift (Mon–Fri, 1:30pm–10:00pm). You will support the Warehouse Coordinator, manage work flow, and ensure efficient palletizing operations in a high-volume distribution facility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2 years of experience in distribution operations, including equipment, materials, workflow, WMS and forklift operations in a fast-paced distribution environment.
• High-reach truck experience is required, as a high-reach truck will be utilized for this job function.

Responsibilities

• Promote a safety culture and adhere to plant safety policies at all times.
• Direct product workflow from stretch wrappers to storage locations.
• Maintain adequate supply of empty pallets for palletizer use.
• Coordinate changeovers of palletizers and stretch wrappers.
• Coordinate end-of-work orders with Manufacturing Tech Line Operators and other staff.
• Ensure line clearance during changeover to new work orders.
• Perform mechanical operation, maintenance, troubleshooting and PMs on palletizers, stretch wrappers, PLS and related equipment.
• Supply raw materials to equipment in the palletizer area (stretch wrap, labels, etc.).
• Inspect pallets against quality standards and document results.
• Assist with training and certification programs as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
