Church & Dwight Co., Inc. in York, PA is seeking a High Reach Palletizer Operator for the night shift (Mon–Fri, 9:30 pm–6:00 am) to support a fast-paced distribution facility producing A&H Cat Litter and Laundry Detergent.

The role offers an hourly wage of $28.34 plus a $1.00/hour shift differential. You will support the Warehouse Coordinator, manage workflow, perform PMs, and ensure safety and quality in a high-volume operation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2 years of experience in distribution operations in a fast-paced environment.
• High-reach truck experience required; standup forklift experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Promote a safety culture and adhere to plant safety policies at all times.
• Direct product workflow from stretch wrappers to storage locations.
• Maintain adequate supply of empty pallets for palletizer use.
• Coordinate changeovers of palletizers and stretch wrappers.
• Coordinate end-of-work orders with Manufacturing Technical staff and other operations personnel.
• Perform mechanical operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and PMs on palletizers, stretch wrappers, pallet labeling system, and related equipment.
• Assist with training and certification programs as needed.

Support and adhere to all plant safety policies and procedures at all times.* Directs product workflow from stretch wrappers to storage locations.* Maintains adequate supply of empty pallets for palletizer utilization.* Coordinates changeovers of palletizers and stretch wrappers.* Coordinates end of work orders with Manufacturing Technical Line Operators and other operations personnel.* Ensures line clearance during changeover to new work order.* Mechanical operation, maintenance, troubleshooting and PM’s on all palletizers, stretch wrappers, pallet labeling system (PLS) and associated equipment.* Supplies raw materials as needed to equipment in palletizer area, such as stretch wrap, labels, ribbon, etc.* Inspects pallets against quality standards and documents results.* Assists with training and certification program as needed.* Other duties as assigned.**MINIMUM EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:*** High school diploma or GED required.* 2 years of experience in distribution operations, including equipment, materials, workflow, WMS and forklift operations in a fast-paced distribution environment.* High-reach truck experience is required, as a high-reach truck will be utilized for this job function.**PREFERED EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:*** Preferred experience working on a standup forklift.* Mechanical and technical ability, ability to troubleshoot, perform PM’s, etc.**KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:*** Strong interpersonal skills – ability to build positive relationships at all levels of the organization.* Strong communications skills – ability to communicate clearly and concisely in multiple media – verbal, written, etc.* Must have ability to communicate clearly in English – verbal and written.* Strong organizational/time management skills.**REQUIRED TRAINING:**Candidates are required to complete all necessary trainings within the defined introductory period.**WORKING CONDITIONS:**The operations is not in a climate controlled environment. Candidates will be exposed to the seasonal temperature variations.
