Job summary

Lineage Logistics is seeking a forklift operator to move products and materials in cold and dry storage facilities while following all safety standards. The role involves putting away pallets, picking outbound items, and recording weights and counts using an RF system.

Daily maintenance and battery checks are also required. Candidates must lift at least 40 lbs, work flexible shifts including weekends, and tolerate loud environments.

Qualifications

• Basic math skills.
• Ability to understand instructions in the country’s official language.
• Ability to work in temperatures as low as -20 Fahrenheit/-25 Celsius in cold storage sites or up to 100 Fahrenheit/37 Celsius in dry storage sites while wearing PPE.
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 40 lbs./18 kgs; weight may be more depending on facility.
• Ability to work a flexible work schedule and shift, including weekends if needed.
• Must be comfortable with various noise levels, at times, can be loud.

Responsibilities

• Move products, equipment, and materials using stand-up reach forklift.
• Put away palletized units by lifting forks for placement into high racks.
• Pick palletized units from racks above floor height for outbound shipments.
• Record materials, weight, counts, and item condition via RF system.
• Load and unload materials on pallets, skids, or lifting devices.
• Complete daily forklift maintenance/check sheet.
